About the position

Lutheran Services Florida is seeking a dedicated Data Entry Clerk to manage and input client records into various data systems for statistical purposes. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate data management and reporting, contributing to the organization's mission of supporting families and communities. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, preferably in English and Spanish, and will work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy in data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Enter client records into ESA database and DCF ORACLE.
  • Retrieve information for client eligibility from the SAVE systems.
  • Prepare reports necessary for DCF invoices.
  • Generate computer reports for statistical data from ORACLE and ESA databases.
  • Maintain and file proper documentation for DCF and LSF records.
  • Assist with clerical duties in the absence of the Administrator Assistant.
  • Serve as an interpreter as needed.
  • Assist paralegals with intake as instructed by the Attorney.
  • Create and prepare Fee spreadsheet for billing submission to fiscal.
  • Perform various clerical and field-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Attend required staff and parent meetings and activities.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in data entry and report preparation.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Clerical experience is helpful.
  • Computer knowledge required: Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a valid Florida driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle systems.
  • Knowledge of the area preferred.
