About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position involves accurately entering data into the SAP computer system, reviewing sales paperwork, processing orders, and maintaining documentation. The role requires effective communication and organizational skills to manage workloads and meet deadlines while providing support to the sales team and responding to inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry in SAP computer system (product numbers, sales orders, credits, etc.)
  • Review sales paperwork for accuracy against customer contracts and documentation
  • Process sales paperwork in the computer system and per applicable procedures
  • Release new orders and change orders to manufacturing
  • Verify finished goods (stock) requests and move pending stock as needed
  • Maintain master tooling files
  • Process obsolete list as needed (at minimum twice per year)
  • Invoicing and filing sales documents
  • Prioritize and organize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Answer phones and perform miscellaneous duties as needed
  • Respond to emails quickly and send out emails to Intel management and suppliers
  • Scan incoming and outgoing materials and input data into systems
  • Create orders in the systems

Requirements

  • Ability to read sales forms and input data into the computer system
  • Ability to effectively communicate with professionalism both verbally and in writing
  • Basic Microsoft Office software experience (Word & Excel primarily)
  • Resourceful in identifying and solving problems
  • Positive, service-oriented focus and communication in any situation
