About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at Volt involves accurately entering and managing data in databases, ensuring data integrity, and performing various clerical tasks related to data management. This role is essential for maintaining organized and up-to-date records within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and correcting errors in the data as quickly as possible.
  • Sorting and preparing data and files for entry.
  • Accurately typing data into databases.
  • Updating and maintaining databases, backing up data, and eliminating duplicated data.
  • Managing and archiving files, including archiving files from the file room.
  • Transcribing data from audio or video files.

Requirements

  • Typing skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30-40 lb file boxes.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
