About the position

Environmental Compliance Consultants Inc. (ECC) is seeking a Data Entry Clerk/Admin to support environmental and industrial services at a Department of Defense hazardous waste facility. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to compliance efforts while ensuring accurate data management and administrative support. The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and teamwork, providing a stable work environment with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security Management program requirements.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to hazardous waste management using EESOH-MIS.
  • Coordinate and organize administrative activities, including filing and document management.
  • Support compliance efforts by documenting waste handling procedures and inspections.
  • Collaborate with team members to compile data and generate reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Perform duties in-person at a military installation facility.
  • Pick-up, organize, and deliver supplies and materials.
  • Conduct office cleaning and general housekeeping tasks.
  • Complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines.
  • Respond to internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Operate modern office equipment, including personal computers.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or administration are a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry and administrative tasks, preferably in hazardous waste management or environmental compliance.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and data management software; familiarity with EESOH-MIS is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks for military installation access.
  • Valid Driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional certifications or training in data entry or administration.
  • Familiarity with EESOH-MIS.
