Responsibilities

  • Comply with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security Management program requirements.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including entering, updating, and maintaining records related to hazardous waste management.
  • Coordinate and organize administrative activities, such as filing, document management, and correspondence.
  • Support the facility's compliance efforts by accurately documenting waste handling procedures, inspections, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to compile and analyze data, generate reports, and assist with training presentations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Perform duties in-person at a facility on a military installation.
  • Pick-up, organize, and deliver supplies and materials.
  • Conduct office cleaning and general housekeeping tasks.
  • Complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines.
  • Respond to internal and external customers appropriately and respectfully.
  • Operate a variety of modern office equipment, including personal computers and related software.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in data entry or administration are a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry and administrative tasks, preferably in a hazardous waste management or environmental compliance setting.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and data management software; familiarity with EESOH-MIS is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening including marijuana.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Ability to pass background checks for military installation access.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with EESOH-MIS software.
  • Additional certifications in data entry or administration.
