About the position

The Data Entry Clerk / Office Assistant will provide essential technical and administrative support to a professional learning organization that serves a large network of charter schools across the state. This role involves data entry, document management, communication with stakeholders, and technical support, assisting in implementing professional learning programs and facilitating teacher certification processes.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and manage data related to professional learning activities, reimbursement procedures, and certification processes.
  • Organize and maintain records, ensuring that all documents are properly stored, managed, and accessible when needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from school leaders, teachers, and other stakeholders, providing clear and accurate information on professional learning programs and certification requirements.
  • Assist the Director of Professional Learning and other team leads in the development and implementation of professional learning initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to staff and stakeholders, ensuring that systems and tools used for professional learning and certification are functioning effectively.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that professional learning programs meet state requirements and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree or additional training in office administration, data management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in data entry, office administration, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data management systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in an educational environment or supporting professional development is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
