About the position

The Jewelry Information Specialist at Eric Originals and Antiques is responsible for assisting in the migration of the company's jewelry database to a new Shopify website. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate tagging and organization of jewelry items, facilitating a seamless transition to the new platform while maintaining the integrity of the jewelry collections.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the migration of our current jewelry database to a new Shopify website.
• Tag and organize jewelry items in our identification system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Create new product entries and pages on the Shopify website.
• Utilize basic to advanced knowledge of jewelry types, stones, cuts, and other relevant characteristics for accurate tagging and description.
• Work closely with the team to support the transition to the new system and website.

Requirements

• Basic to advanced understanding of jewelry, including types, stones, cuts, and classifications.
• Experience or familiarity with website management, particularly Shopify, is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in jewelry identification and classification is a bonus.
