About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at Vminds Technologies Inc involves high-speed manual key data entry and verification of incoming digital images and hardcopy documents. The role requires accuracy and efficiency in processing data, with a focus on document classification, validation, and quality control. The position is contract-based, requiring 4 shifts of 10 hours each week, primarily from Saturday to Tuesday.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-speed manual key data entry and verification from incoming hardcopy documents.
• Validate document classification of automatically classified documents.
• Perform data validation of automatically extracted data from digital documents.
• Conduct redaction validation of automatically applied redaction of digital documents.
• Manually index meta-data from digital documents.
• Ensure quality control of documents converted to digital format.
• Validate data of incoming checks and perform check batch total reconciliation.
• Distribute check amounts as required by the customer.
• Analyze automated document classification exceptions and make necessary corrections.
• Analyze automated extracted data exceptions and make necessary corrections.
• Analyze automated redacted data exceptions and make necessary corrections.
• Research and analyze check distributions as required by the customer.
• Compare hardcopy documents to digitally converted versions to ensure quality.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining quality and error-free work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Familiarity with personal computers required.
• Basic knowledge of ten-key and keyboard skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to perform analysis and problem solving.
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Medical experience is a plus.
• Experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) preferred.
• Experience with data entry and verification from incoming digital images preferred.
