About the position

The Data Entry Clerk at Mission Doctor's Group plays a crucial role in managing patient accounts by accurately posting incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring efficient revenue collection. This position is integral to maintaining the financial integrity of the organization and supports the overall mission of providing quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Post all incoming payments to correct patient accounts on a daily basis.
  • Input and retrieve data from computer systems.
  • Reconcile accounts daily.
  • Apply payments to patient accounts accurately and efficiently.
  • Apply contractual adjustments to patient AR balances as needed.
  • Manage and forward underpayments/denials to the appropriate departments for follow-up and further revenue collection.

Requirements

  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or cashier experience required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
  • Analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • High School Graduate or GED Equivalent required.
