About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at TEKsystems involves supporting Securities Operations by performing moderately complex operational tasks and seeking process improvements. The role requires interaction with client personnel and involves reviewing trades for reimbursement eligibility, as well as submitting trade correction requests. The position aims to build and automate processes in compliance with FINRA requirements over the next year.

Responsibilities

• Support Securities Operations by performing operational support tasks.
• Proactively seek ways to improve processes within the department.
• Review trades for CDCS Reimbursement Eligibility and submit trade correction requests.
• Send notifications to financial advisors and potentially handle phone communications.
• Interact with client personnel on a range of information and escalate non-routine questions to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus.
• Familiarity with Smart Station (financial advisor workstation).
• Experience with mutual funds and understanding mutual fund language.
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with financial advisors.

• Experience with brokerage work.
