About the position

The Data Entry Clerk/Office Assistant at Snowline Engineering is responsible for compiling, entering, and processing customer data, managing requests for quotes, pulling drawings, and expediting orders to support the day-to-day operations of the company. This role requires strong attention to detail and effective communication skills to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain files and storage system
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Retrieve documents and files when requested
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Review, acknowledge and expedite customer purchase orders
  • Become familiar with customer needs
  • Enter data accurately
  • Determine data entry priorities
  • Work in an office setting with discretion and professionalism

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of similar experience
  • Experience with computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and ERP shop software
  • Strong attention to detail
