About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team at First Choice Tax & Insurance Solutions Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our databases, particularly using QuickBooks. This role requires strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks, playing a crucial role in supporting our administrative functions and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and update data into databases and QuickBooks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Transcribe information from various sources into digital formats.
  • Utilize Excel for data management, including the use of pivot tables and other advanced functions.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring compliance with data protection policies.
  • Assist in generating reports and analyzing data as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables and formulas.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
  • Basic math skills for accurate data entry and verification.
  • Familiarity with databases and data management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
