The Data Entry Clerk / Safety Admin position at Keolis Transit America is a full-time role based in Van Nuys, California, offering a starting pay of $21.00 per hour. This position is integral to maintaining the safety and compliance standards of the organization by managing various confidential training and compliance files, both electronic and paper. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Safety and Training Manager to ensure that all files are created and maintained in accordance with Federal, State, and company requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, managing Training Files, Driver Qualification Files, Drug & Alcohol Files, Accident/Incident Files, Auto Liability and Workers' Compensation Files, as well as OSHA and Injury Files. In this role, the Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all Drug & Alcohol testing, maintaining and auditing all related files to ensure compliance with FTA and company requirements. The position also involves tracking employee credentials, coordinating communications with the Operations Manager, and preparing progress reports on New Hire and Existing Employee Training. The clerk will maintain all Accident, Incident, Claims, and Injury Files, ensuring that all logs are kept up to date and in compliance with local and corporate standards. The role requires a strong attention to detail, as the clerk will prepare source data for computer entry, verify entered data, and secure information by organizing physical and electronic files. The Data Entry Clerk will contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and may be assigned additional duties as needed. This position emphasizes the importance of confidentiality and customer confidence, ensuring that all information is handled with the utmost care.
