About the position

ThermoWorks is seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a temporary position during the holiday season. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy of order entries and involves working with internal teams to resolve order issues. This is an entry-level position that does not require customer interaction, and it is essential for maintaining data integrity within the company.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for completeness and approve for release to warehouse for fulfillment according to company guidelines
• Merge duplicate customer records into single accounts
• Ensure customers are correctly categorized for subsequent marketing programs
• Input data into computer
• Solve order issues by working with internal teams
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proficient with computers including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Slides, Google Chat, etc)
• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
• Minimum 1 year of experience processing sales orders and/or with data entry
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• High School diploma or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
