About the position

The Data Entry Clerk is a vital role within our organization, primarily responsible for the accurate and efficient entry of data related to product run logs, spreadsheets, contamination reports, and production reports. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain high levels of accuracy while managing various administrative tasks. The Clerk will also provide essential administrative support to various departments, which includes filing, scanning, records retention, and utilizing PolicyTech for document management. Daily plant production data entry is a key responsibility, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accurate. In addition to data entry, the Clerk will be tasked with maintaining records retention and tracking manufacturing inspections, ensuring compliance with departmental document requirements. The role involves the completion of Truck and Rail paperwork, which is crucial for logistics and supply chain management. The Clerk will also aid in the management of PolicyTech documents, reviewing, scanning, and filing department paperwork to ensure that all documentation is organized and accessible. The position requires effective communication skills, as the Clerk will need to convey information professionally and concisely to various stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential, as the Clerk will interact with employees at all levels. Adherence to safety, environmental, and quality-related policies is paramount, and the Clerk will play a role in promoting a positive and ethical work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry for product run logs and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain records retention and data entry.
  • Track manufacturing inspections and other department document requirements.
  • Complete Truck and Rail paperwork.
  • Aid in PolicyTech document management.
  • Review, scan, and file department paperwork.
  • Ensure accurate facility production and inventory metrics and investigate discrepancies.
  • Participate in the Supplier Management Program.
  • Work effectively in a team environment with all levels of employees.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality-related policies.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in 10-Key.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, MS Outlook, etc.).
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze documents, data, and programs for continuous improvement.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
