About the position

Our technical staff of microbiologists and customer service representatives will work with you to choose the appropriate tests, methods, and frequencies best suited to your specific needs. Eurofins is searching for a Data Entry Clerk in Lancaster, PA, who will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our laboratory data. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage data entry tasks while ensuring compliance with our operational standards. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering sample descriptions into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), processing and coding invoices for submission to accounts payable, and operating standard office equipment including computers and scanners. The role also involves maintaining neat and accurate records, updating clients on testing progress and other activities, and managing supply inventory while verifying the accuracy of invoices. The ideal candidate will be proactive in performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the laboratory operations. This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 10 am to 6:30 pm. The candidate should also be prepared to work overtime, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, able to type 40-45 wpm
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
