We are currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk who is dependable, self-motivated, and dedicated to their work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a basic knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Excel. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, working on group projects, and thrives in a high-pressure environment. The candidate should be achievement-oriented, willing to take on challenges, and able to work autonomously with minimal direction. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for producing reports that require the utilization of a wide range of sources. You will contribute to the Receiving Department by helping with the verification and daily entry of products, as well as processing the daily receipt of goods. Your support will also include matching receiving reports and filing vendor invoices and disbursement documents. You will need to patch up discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts, preparing correction documents as required. Additionally, you will be responsible for assembling documents that require knowledge in determining the proper classification, overall document control, and assisting with inventory control and daily scheduling of shipping and receiving. Familiarity with SAGE 100 is a plus, and you will assist in the shipping and receiving of inventory, verifying and documenting heat numbers, serial numbers, and various other shipping and receiving documents. Scanning in receiving documents and other related data, scheduling shipping and receiving, and taking photos of incoming and outgoing inventory will also be part of your duties. The ability to multitask under extreme deadlines is essential, and a positive attitude towards professional teamwork is a must.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Accounts payable: 3 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Required)
  • Microsoft 365: 3 years (Required)
  • Accounting/data entry: 3 years (Required)
  • English (Required)
