About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team at ARP Welding in Oxford, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data entry procedures and be proficient in utilizing various software applications to input and manage data accurately. This position is full-time and offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring that all data is entered correctly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations. In this role, the Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for transcribing data from source documents into computerized databases or systems. This includes performing data collection and entry tasks with a high level of accuracy, processing orders, and inputting information into the system promptly. The clerk will also be tasked with sorting all incoming mail, scanning and filing all test reports and Bill of Ladings, and maintaining organized records of data to ensure data integrity. Additionally, the Data Entry Clerk will assist in organizing and managing databases efficiently, which is essential for maintaining the flow of information within the company. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency in basic math skills for accurate data entry and possess strong organizational skills to handle large volumes of data effectively. Experience with order entry processes is a plus, as is familiarity with databases and data management systems. This position requires a commitment to detail and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities
