About the position

The Data Entry Clerk at Greatland Fuel Sales LLC plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Anchorage office, reporting directly to the Inventory Manager. This position involves managing inventory data, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and delivering excellent customer service to clients and visitors. The role requires adaptability to fluctuating workloads and tasks based on client needs and organizational changes.

Responsibilities

• Apply best practices and standard operating procedures for Vitus Terminals.
• Support inventory management including receiving, counting, and ordering.
• Place orders and enter inventory into Modisoft.
• Complete weekly inventory counts and input store adjustments.
• Review margins and negative inventory.
• Coach staff on inventory processes.
• Complete and verify all purchases in Modisoft and QuickBooks.
• Data entry of new items, price changes, and markdowns.
• Verify all EBT on hand at site levels, ensuring minimum age requirements are met.
• Review documentation and monitor product codes for discrepancies.
• Create, revise, and/or update Excel spreadsheets and other software documents.
• Prepare, arrange, and file documents/paperwork.
• Support the coordination of receipts, bill of laden, credit memos, and packing slips with operations and terminals.
• Assist the Inventory Manager with inventory reconciliation of convenience store packaged goods.
• Reconcile statements with vendors.
• Enter invoices into QuickBooks.
• Backup to receptionist desk.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Data entry experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize a variety of tasks concurrently.
