About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at Sciolex Corporation is a permanent, full-time role that supports the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by managing and facilitating operations at a local Field Office. The role involves creating and maintaining electronic records, consolidating files, and performing various data entry tasks to ensure compliance with USCIS regulations and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Creating electronic records for new files and records in accordance with USCIS regulations and deadlines
  • Consolidating files
  • Creating files, physically and electronically
  • Rejacketing files
  • Performing data inquiries and searches on government agency systems
  • Generating ad hoc reports, as needed
  • Scanning large multi-page documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
  • Ability to type 30 WPM
  • Ability to read and understand proficiently in English
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment
  • Ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
