About the position

QuikShip JA, LLC is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to efficiently input data into our database from the inspection of packages received. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring the proper handling of packages in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Type in data provided from inspection and weighing of packages
• Create and label packages from data gathered
• Sort and organize packages after entering data to ensure correct labeling

Requirements

• Proven experience as data entry clerk in a warehouse/shipping facility
• Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
• Basic understanding of databases
• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
• Great attention to detail
• High school degree or equivalent
