About the position

A business funding company located in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join their team on an ongoing basis. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting small business owners with their funding applications. Your primary duties will include reviewing potential client applications, entering relevant information into a proprietary database, and processing data for new customers. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, as you will be handling repetitive tasks that are crucial to the funding process. The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. You will undergo several weeks of training to ensure you are well-prepared for the responsibilities of the job. This is a fully onsite position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and one Saturday of overtime required per quarter. The pay for this role is set at $23 per hour, based on your experience, with the potential to earn $50,000 plus commission once you transition to a full-time position. To succeed in this role, you should possess strong computer skills, particularly in the MS Office Suite, and have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn new systems and processes are essential. The work environment is fast-paced, and you will be expected to meet deadlines consistently.
