About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position is responsible for accurately entering and managing data within the Dayco Coin System and HJ WMS under the supervision of the Indirect Purchasing Manager. This role involves processing receipts, purchase orders, and inventory reports, as well as providing backup support for production planning. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Enter Canada receipts information into COIN as physical loads are received into Canada and invoices are made available.
• Serve as a backup to the Production Planning Clerk during vacations or absences by keying data into COIN for scheduling kitting production or releasing scheduled work for Outbound Operations via HJ WMS.
• Run daily reports from Kitting daily usage and current inventory to determine ordering needs for packaging materials.
• Enter purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Reconcile purchase orders and packing slips to prepare for receiving.
• Monitor the accounts payable system for timely payments.
• Conduct month-end close out reconciliation.
• Perform filing and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of data entry experience required.
• Supply Chain and demand planning experience preferred.
• ERP experience (COIN/BPCS/CMS preferred) and warehouse management system experience preferred.
• Entry level to Intermediate Excel skills (V/X-lookups/data analysis); 10-key proficiency required.
• Excellent communication skills with adaptability.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Ability to work professionally with internal teams at various levels.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ERP systems (COIN/CMS preferred).
• Warehouse management system experience.
