About the position

We are in search of a meticulous Data Entry Clerk for our non-profit organization located in Gardena, California. This role entails reviewing and documenting various documents, performing data entry tasks, and communicating updates to the management team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to our administrative processes. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for reviewing roughly 150 tickets daily and documenting the review process, ensuring that all data entry tasks are performed with accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, as the candidate will be reviewing transcripts and assigning appropriate statuses, as well as maintaining organized storage of documents. Regular communication with management is essential, providing updates as needed to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the role may involve contributing to various office and clerical tasks as required, utilizing document review skills to enhance our processes. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Review roughly 150 tickets daily and document the review process
  • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Review transcripts and assign appropriate status
  • Ensure regular communication with management, providing updates as needed
  • Download and store documents in an organized manner
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in a role that requires meticulousness

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent educational attainment
  • Previous experience in data entry or related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in using computers for data entry
  • Proficient touch typing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to review and verify data for accuracy
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a non-profit organization is a plus
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Familiarity with Document Review processes and techniques.
