About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at Rose International is a temporary role based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a hybrid work model that requires office presence only on Fridays. The role is part of a team that manages demand side management (DSM) initiatives, which include demand response and energy efficiency programs. The primary responsibility of the Data Entry Clerk will be to support the residential saver switch and AC Rewards programs, which involve processing a high volume of work orders related to energy efficiency incentives. This position will require collaboration with third-party vendors, specifically Hunt Electric, and will involve direct communication with electricians to facilitate the installation of energy-saving devices. The Data Entry Clerk will work within Salesforce and manage a shared queue of work orders, ensuring that customer eligibility for programs is verified and that incentives are accurately processed. The role demands strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be expected to engage with team members through daily chats and utilize various tools such as BlueBeam for document markup, as well as Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in high-volume data entry environments, and should demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivation, as much of the work will be conducted remotely. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to energy efficiency initiatives while developing skills in data management and customer service within a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work with third-party vendor, Hunt Electric, to facilitate the installation of energy-saving devices.
  • Process residential saver switch and AC Rewards work orders, ensuring customer eligibility for programs.
  • Manage a shared queue of work orders in Salesforce, prioritizing tasks from oldest to newest.
  • Collaborate with team members through daily chats to ensure efficient completion of work.
  • Utilize BlueBeam for document markup and manage PDFs and scanning tasks as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy of incentives and rebates provided to customers.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience working in a high-volume shared queue environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in utility rebate processing is preferred.
  • Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic.

Nice-to-haves

  • Utility experience, particularly in rebate processing.
  • Experience with BlueBeam or similar markup tools.
