About the position

The Data Entry Clerk at South Park Inn, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Winter Warming Center by accurately transferring and updating guest-related data from paper files into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and Smartsheet. This position requires adherence to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring timely data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Completes HMIS and Smartsheet trainings.
• Enters and updates guest data from paper documents into HMIS in a timely manner.
• Maintains paper files.
• Enters data into Smart Sheets in a timely manner.
• Runs necessary reports.
• Presents a professional appearance, dressing neatly and in compliance with dress code.
• Is punctual for shifts and meetings and keeps good attendance.
• Advocates for the mission of the organization and upholds agency values.
• Complies with agency and program policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma and demonstrated literacy competency.
• Proven experience with data entry.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain focus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Smart Sheets, and HMIS.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Experience within human services preferred, particularly within the fields of housing and homelessness a plus.
