About the position

MCMI is currently seeking applicants for the position of Data Entry Clerk. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized individual who is looking to contribute to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various clerical tasks, including organizing client files, performing data entry, engaging with clients and resource managers, auditing files, and providing general administrative support. This position is open until September, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring that our records are maintained accurately and efficiently, which is essential for the smooth operation of our services. The candidate will also be expected to engage with clients in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders involved. Additionally, the role includes assisting with auditing files to ensure compliance with company standards and completing other clerical tasks and administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain physical and digital files accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Engage with clients in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone.
  • Assist with auditing files to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Complete other clerical tasks and administrative duties assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in an office environment, preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (1 year preferred).
