About the position

The Children's Law Center of California (CLC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Monterey Park, CA. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our data archives, which support our mission of advocating for children and youth in the foster care system. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for inputting high-volume confidential information into various databases, ensuring that all data is captured in a timely and precise manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent interpersonal abilities to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients. In this role, the Data Entry Clerk will review client case files and compile chronological history sheets, download and rename files for database entry, and prepare agendas for weekly meetings. Additionally, the clerk will report on monthly investigator inputs to ensure documentation is on track and provide secondary support for investigators during client visits as needed. This position requires a commitment to excellence in advocacy and a passion for supporting the mission of CLC. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent typing, filing, proofreading, and organizational skills. The ability to maintain professionalism and patience while communicating with clients is essential. A valid California driver's license, reliable automobile, and auto insurance are required for this position.

Responsibilities
