About the position

AerSale® is a global leader and market innovator specializing in aviation products and services to meet the growing demand for aftermarket support in global passenger, cargo, and government segments. The Data Entry Clerk position is a full-time role based in Miami, FL, where the successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, maintaining, and filing source documents for data input. This role requires operating key entry devices to record a variety of alpha/numeric data onto various storage media. The Data Entry Clerk will input Life Limited Part Summaries data and applicable technical and operational documentation for company and customer aircraft and engines, as well as related parts. The position also involves auditing lease data, updating aircraft and engine databases, and assisting in the pre-purchase evaluation of aircraft and engines as required. In addition to data entry, the Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for researching records through contacts with OEMs, repair facilities, and previous owners/operators to obtain life-limited part trace and complete operational and technical aircraft and engine documentation. The role includes creating and updating Specification Sheets for aircraft and engines, scanning select technical and trace documents, verifying the accuracy of data input into the database, and tracking documents received and completion dates. Communication with technical staff to resolve computer and software problems is also a key responsibility, along with completing reports and backing up files. Clerical duties, including filing documents, are part of the job as well.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, maintain and file source documents for data input.
  • Operate key entry devices to record a variety of alpha/numeric data onto various storage media.
  • Input Life Limited Part Summaries data and applicable technical and operational documentation for company and customer aircraft and engines and related parts.
  • Input data for lease aircraft and engines, obtain operational and technical data, audit lease data, and update aircraft and engine database.
  • Assist in pre-purchase evaluation of aircraft and engines and/or inventory as required.
  • Research records through contacts with OEMs, repair facilities, and previous owners/operators to obtain life-limited part trace and complete operational and technical aircraft and engine documentation.
  • Create and update Specification Sheets for aircraft and engines as necessary.
  • Scan select technical and trace documents.
  • Verify accuracy of data input into the database.
  • Track documents received and completion dates.
  • Communicate with technical staff to resolve computer and software problems.
  • Complete reports and back up files.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing documents.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of data entry experience.
  • Strong data entry skills alpha and numeric with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Typing skills must be at least 35 wpm.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Efficient with a desire to succeed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.
