About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at a large financial Lockbox Bank involves keying data from scanned documents into a database. This role is temporary and project-based, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment governed by production standards.

Responsibilities

  • Key data from scanned documents into the database
  • Open, sort, and verify contents of mail
  • Ensure accuracy of documents and prepare them for processing
  • Identify and correct errors in data
  • Be flexible and willing to learn and be utilized in all areas of operation

Requirements

  • 10-key skills of 6,000 keystrokes per hour with 98%+ accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Ability to work in high volume, fast-paced environment governed by production standards
  • Require clerical, reading, writing and mathematical skills
  • Able to analyze, respond and comprehend client's standard operating procedures and their instructions
