About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at Rockingham Meals on Wheels involves entering and maintaining client information in data systems to support the agency's mission of delivering meals to homebound seniors. The role requires collaboration with the Client Services Manager and Site Managers to ensure accurate and timely client intakes and annual redeterminations.

Responsibilities

• Enter intake data into State system while cross-checking client data for accuracy.
• Monitor intakes for accuracy and follow up with staff to make corrections.
• Monitor referrals that come into the office and follow up with site managers.
• Complete client intakes over the phone when needed for the sites.
• Ensure annual client redeterminations are completed on time by all managers.
• Maintain client files in accordance with State and Federal regulations regarding personal health information.
• Process closeout documentation, monthly and annually.
• Run weekly/monthly client reports including client demography, meal counts, and reassessment dates.

Requirements

• Two years of work experience with Data Entry.
• Previous experience working in Non-Profits, Social Services, or Elder Care programs strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable with good time management skills.
• Ability to work well with others to ensure tasks are completed on time and accurately.
• Fluency in Microsoft Suite of applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new computer programs.
