As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently collecting, organizing, and entering data into our janitorial software and spreadsheets. This role is ideal for individuals who have strong organizational skills, experience with data collection and entry, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. In this position, you will input new clients, jobs, and vendors into our janitorial software system, verify data for accuracy and completeness, and create and maintain organized records of our vendors and subcontractors. You will also create work order tickets for the finance team to process in an efficient and timely manner. This role requires a proactive approach to managing data and ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Input new clients/jobs and vendors into our janitorial software system
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, using basic math skills for job budgets as needed
  • Create and maintain organized records of our vendors/subcontractors
  • Create work order tickets for the finance team to process in an efficient and timely manner

Requirements

  • Previous experience in data entry, order entry, in the janitorial and maintenance division is a PLUS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with computerized data entry systems or software (WinTeam and Asana experience is a PLUS)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
