About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at Robert Half is a short-term contract role focused on customer service, data entry, and document organization within the Construction/Contractor industry. Responsibilities

• Execute data entry tasks with precision, using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Respond to customer queries and concerns through email correspondence, ensuring clear and efficient communication
• Leverage your 10 Key Skills to perform calculations and manage data
• Maintain an organized filing system, including scanning and typing documents as required
• Monitor customer accounts, taking necessary action based on the information available
• Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction/contractor industry
• Proficient in 10 Key Skills, with a fast and accurate typing speed
• Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service
• Solid experience in data entry, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in email correspondence, with excellent written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in organizing files, both physical and digital
• Ability to perform calculations accurately and quickly
• Experience in scanning documents, ensuring clarity and readability
• Strong typing skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed
