About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at Robert Half involves maintaining accurate records and processing applications in a fast-paced, time-critical environment within the high tech engineering industry. Responsibilities

• Migrate data from the current ERP system with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
• Enter, update, research, verify, and retrieve data in company systems.
• Ensure the confidentiality of all data handled.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Costpoint - Deltek for data entry and customer service tasks.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the data.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt responses.
• Assist in the transition to the Deltek Costpoint ERP system.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ensure all customer applications are processed efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Data Entry Clerk role within the Hi Tech Engineering industry
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in using Costpoint - Deltek software
• Proven customer service skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required
• Excellent typing skills with high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
