About the position

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk for a contract position lasting 3-4 months. This role involves high-volume data entry tasks, requiring exceptional typing skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Accurate and rapid input of data into the company's database.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets with large numbers of figures.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Update and maintain confidentiality of information records.
  • Conduct regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Review and flag any discrepancies in the data.
  • Complete additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk, or similar role.
  • Fast typing speed (at least 50 WPM) and a knack for accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of databases.
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task.
  • High school degree or equivalent; college degree preferred.
