About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position involves working on a legal document migration project, where the primary responsibility is to accurately find and enter data values for specific attributes across approximately 330 documents. The role requires the candidate to identify and extract data such as contract types and effective dates from each document. Training will be provided to ensure that the selected candidate is well-prepared to perform these tasks effectively. In this role, the Data Entry Clerk will be expected to enter the identified data values into a provided worksheet, ensuring that all entries are accurate and completed in a timely manner. The position also involves consulting with the Legal team as necessary to clarify any questions or uncertainties regarding the data attributes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, especially in time-sensitive situations. The Data Entry Clerk will perform standard data entry tasks according to team production standards, which include examining data records, inspecting incoming data for completeness, and ensuring the accuracy of codes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will need to interact with team members and possibly the Legal team to resolve any issues that arise during the data entry process.

Responsibilities

  • Find content (data values) for 12 data attributes per document across approximately 330 documents.
  • Enter data value for each data attribute into a provided worksheet.
  • Consult with the Legal team as needed for questions.
  • Perform data entry tasks in an accurate and timely fashion according to team production standards.
  • Examine data records and inspect incoming data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with team minimum production and accuracy standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience with Excel and Macbook is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Document Control and Administrative Tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with iOS and MacOS.
