About the position

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering and processing data from toxicology requisition forms into the CRL computer system. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet data entry quotas, and the maintenance of confidentiality regarding sensitive information. The position involves operating imaging equipment, performing quality assurance audits, and ensuring that all documents are stored and handled according to company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Enter demographic information from requisition forms into the computer system.
  • Enter sample setup information from requisition forms.
  • Meet minimum data entry consents per hour requirements as outlined in the incentive program.
  • Collate and distribute reports as required.
  • Operate imaging equipment and complete document posting as needed.
  • File consents for short term and long term storage.
  • Perform daily quality assurance audits and reconciliation reviews.
  • Correct images when errors are found during audits and reviews, rescanning and indexing corrections.
  • Scan all documents within required timelines and review screen images for accuracy.
  • Store documents in a secured area and place documents in the shred bin as required.
  • Perform light maintenance on scanners and other small office equipment.
  • Communicate problems and errors identified during processing to the management team.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL and client information.
  • Keep work area neat and clean.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous data entry work experience is helpful.
  • Keystroke speed of 9,000 ksph and 95% accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret handwritten information quickly.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be punctual and reliable.
  • Judgment to interact appropriately with employees, clients, and management.
