About the position

The Data Entry Clerk at Eurofins US Microbiology is responsible for accurately entering sample descriptions into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and processing invoices. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and maintain accurate records. The position is full-time, with a focus on supporting the laboratory's operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Enter sample descriptions into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Process and code invoices to submit to accounts payable
• Operate standard office equipment including computers and scanners
• Maintain neat and accurate records
• Update clients on testing progress and other activities
• Maintain supply inventory and verify invoices are correct
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Ability to type 40-45 wpm
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
