About the position

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Customer Support Data Entry Clerk to join our clients Customer Service team in Carlsbad, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing customer information, ensuring data integrity, and supporting our customer service efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude. As a Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include accurately entering customer information, orders, and service requests into our database systems. You will maintain and update customer records daily, verify and correct data discrepancies, and perform regular audits to ensure data integrity. It is crucial that all records are properly filed and organized, and that sensitive customer information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality, complying with all data protection regulations. Additionally, you will be expected to perform any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably within a customer service environment. Experience in the medical device field is a plus. You should be proficient in data entry software and Google Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), with a typing speed of 30+ WPM and high accuracy. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively are essential. A customer-focused attitude with a positive and professional demeanor is also important, as you will be working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter customer information, orders, and service requests into our database systems.

Requirements
