About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data within our systems. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring that our databases are up-to-date and that all information is transcribed correctly. Experience with transportation logistics management and meat or produce industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Input and update data into various databases and systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Transcribe information from paper documents into digital formats.
• Utilize pivot tables and other tools to organize and analyze data as needed.
• Perform order entry tasks, ensuring all orders are processed correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain organized records of data entries and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist in clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in data management processes.
• Schedule and track transportation logistics, ensuring all movements are accurately documented and coordinated.
• Leverage experience in the meat or produce industry to ensure data accuracy and adherence to industry-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data entry with experience using databases and computer systems.
• Familiarity with pivot tables and basic math skills for data analysis.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience in clerical roles, order entry, or transportation logistics management is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the meat or produce industry is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in data management.
