About the position

The Data Entry Clerk position at Insight Global involves supporting a large retail client by facilitating communication between internal and external corporate employees. The role is essential for ensuring that packages and secure items are received, and it requires close collaboration with the IT Manager of Store Systems. This is a hybrid role based in Dublin, CA, requiring the candidate to be local to the Bay Area and come onsite at least three times a week. The position is contract-based for three months, with potential for extensions or reallocation to another team.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with various individuals to check on the delivery status of packages.
  • Call vendors and mail/delivery centers to verify delivery status.
  • Report the status of items in an Excel document and relay important escalations to upper management.

Requirements

  • 1 year of professional experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Phone conversation skills
  • Basic Excel knowledge
  • Arrives on time, working regular 9-5
  • High School Diploma
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
