About the position

We are seeking a meticulous and diligent Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Flushing, New York. This short-term contract role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of our digital databases and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process accounting entries and perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
• Handle office administration tasks to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct cash reconciliations and manage bank deposits
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial data
• Ensure the proper usage of FUND E-Z for financial tracking
• Work with PayPal for transactions and financial operations
• Implement accounting procedures to maintain financial transparency
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in data entry.
• Knowledge of accounting entries and procedures.
• Ability to handle bank deposits accurately.
• Experience in cash reconciliations.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with FUND E-Z software.
• Previous experience in office administration.
• Knowledge of PayPal transactions.
• Must be able to follow strict data privacy and confidentiality protocols.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in finance or related field is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S.
