About the position
As a Data Entry Clerk at ProLogistix, you will be responsible for accurately entering customer orders and maintaining knowledge of products and processes related to order entry. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders into the system
- Develop and maintain knowledge of products, pricing, order classifications, shipping methods, and printing methods utilized in the order entry process
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of operating system, customer portals, and customer web stores
- Interact with customers to solicit clarity on questionable specifications as needed
- Complete all other assigned data entry functions in the computerized system
- Assist other departments with clerical and/or data entry functions as needed
- Complete special projects when assigned
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience in data entry
- Excellent data entry speed and accuracy required
- Ability to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision
- Strong sense of urgency
- Excellent computer software skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook
- Ability to work in a high-pressure production environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with solid attention to details and accuracy
