Responsibilities

  • Enter, update and verify data into various systems for accuracy.
  • Compile and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct inaccuracies and validate output.
  • Analyze and organize raw data, including troubleshooting problems that might occur during data processing.
  • Maintain and manage company database, constantly ensuring that company information is up-to-date.
  • Respond to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system.
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.
  • Conduct regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed.
  • Perform regular administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a relevant field will be preferred.
  • Proven data entry work experience, preferably in a tech-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, databases and office equipment.
  • Excellent typing skills with an impressive level of speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Familiarity with administrative duties.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level of confidentiality and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good mathematical ability for tallying figures and understanding data models.
