About the position

Robert Half is seeking meticulous Data Entry Clerks in Woodland Hills, CA, who are adept at handling large volumes of data with accuracy and efficiency. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accurate and efficient input of data into the company's systems, maintaining the integrity and reliability of databases.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and efficient input of data into systems.
  • Conduct regular and thorough data quality checks to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Organize/manage electronic and paper files for accessibility and ease of retrieval.
  • Collaborate with team members to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports by collecting and summarizing accurate data.
  • Uphold the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Maintain database by entering new and updated customer and account information.
  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
  • Establish entry priorities.
  • Process customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.
  • Resolve deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Enter customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years' experience in data entry required.
  • Proficient in Alpha-numeric and/or 10 Key by touch Data Entry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, Donor Perfect, or another database.
