About the position

Join National Dentex, a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry, as a Full-Time Data Entry Customer Service Specialist at NDX Heumann Dental Lab in Topeka, KS. This position is integral to our operations, where we provide a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to meet dental restoration needs. With over 50 labs across the country, our team is expanding, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to fill key roles within our organization. The regular working hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, although these hours may be subject to change as needed. As a Data Entry Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for performing essential functions related to data entry and customer service. This includes scheduling cases, invoicing, and ensuring accurate case entry for all business unit cases. You will assist in opening and inspecting cases, matching prescriptions to invoices, and preparing invoices for packaging and mailing. Additionally, you will handle customer inquiries via telephone, notify customers of delivery times, and assist in packing cases for shipment. Other job-related duties may include disinfecting, billing, and messenger assignments as requested. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively. You will need to be self-directed, capable of analyzing problems, and making decisions independently. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for presenting concerns and ideas with tact and diplomacy. A desire to support team efficiency and strong data entry skills are also critical for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic functions/responsibilities of Data Entry Customer Service Specialist.
  • Schedule cases and/or invoice cases as needed.
  • Responsible for Case Entry of all Business Unit cases, assisting in opening and inspecting cases.
  • Match prescriptions (RX's) to invoices in preparation for packaging and mailing.
  • Prepare accurate invoices for customers.
  • Answer telephone inquiries and notify customers of delivery times when necessary.
  • Assist in packing cases for shipment and posting and mailing when requested.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested, including disinfecting, billing, and messenger assignments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong data entry skills with a typing speed of 35 words per minute.
