About the position

Responsibilities

  • Makes copies of paperwork and distributes as needed.
  • Retrieves data and files for other departments and personnel.
  • Uses alphabetical and numerical systems to organize paper and electronic records documents.
  • Checks paperwork, digital forms, and files, updating or correcting documentation as needed.
  • Ensures records are accurate and up to date.
  • Creates and manages file management systems, ensuring changes to documents are recorded.
  • Prepares files for archiving and digitizing physical records.
  • Oversees the destruction of records when necessary.
  • Verifies documents and ensures they are complete and orderly.
  • Creates new files for the organization.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information and only discloses it to authorized people.
