About the position

Wellcare PAL is looking for a Data Entry/Filing Clerk at our office in East Los Angeles. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the accuracy of our data and filing systems. Your primary responsibilities will include entering and managing data, maintaining organized files, and ensuring that all records are up-to-date and easily accessible. The position offers hourly compensation based on your experience and skillset, ranging from $18 to $25 per hour. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our office, as accurate data management is vital for our daily functions and decision-making processes. As a Data Entry/Filing Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering data into computer systems and databases. You will also review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, maintain and update both physical and electronic filing systems, and retrieve and compile data as needed for reports or inquiries. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation and processing of documents, coordinate meetings, and perform routine audits to ensure data integrity. Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion is a key aspect of this role, and you will also assist with any ad hoc tasks that may arise. The ideal candidate for this position will have proven experience in data entry, filing, or a similar administrative role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Drive (Sheets, Docs) is required. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in Mandarin, as this will enhance communication within our diverse team.
