About the position

North Star Academy, a free public charter school located in Bluffdale, Utah, is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This role is designed for individuals who are friendly and enjoy working with children, as the primary responsibility will involve assisting in entering lunch account numbers for students in grades K-9. The position requires approximately 10 hours of work per week, scheduled from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be prepared to submit to and pass a background check in accordance with the requirements set forth by Utah's Department of Public Safety. This position is crucial in ensuring that students have a smooth and efficient lunch experience, contributing to the overall mission of North Star Academy to engage and inspire students in a safe and individualized learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in entering lunch account numbers for students in grades K-9.
• Ensure accurate data entry for lunch accounts.
• Provide friendly and supportive service to students during lunch hours.
