About the position

BulkSupplements.com is a leading manufacturer and distributor of dietary supplement powders, capsules, and soft gels. We are currently seeking an in-house Data Entry Clerk to join our planning department. This entry-level position is focused on data entry tasks primarily using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, manipulating, and entering data into Excel spreadsheets for CSV uploads to our website or directly into a cloud application. This role requires a quick learner who is comfortable with computers and has a keen attention to detail. The candidate must be able to focus and work efficiently, as the tasks may vary in frequency and complexity. The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with other team members to ensure that data is accurately entered and maintained. This position is not remote; the work will be conducted onsite at our Henderson, NV location. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Excel functions and possess strong problem-solving skills. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our data and supporting the overall operations of the planning department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Clean and manipulate data for accurate entry into spreadsheets.
  • Upload CSV files to the website or cloud applications as needed.
  • Learn and execute tasks that may be performed once or continuously.
  • Maintain high accuracy in alpha and numeric data inputting.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, particularly in data manipulation and organization.
  • Ability to use various Excel functions effectively.
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with technology.
  • Typing speed of 40 to 50 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Excel skills (1 year preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems and databases.
